Hello,
I have just emailed a question but wonder if you can help with something else.
I am very unhappy with the service I am received from my IVA practitioner (Payplan). I have been speaking to a couple of friends who are with other practitioners and seem to receive a much better, more helpful and fexible service.
I am trying to find out if it possible to have my IVA transferred to another practitioner and would be grateful if you could advise if it is possible and if so, how would I go about it.
Thanks,
Jessica

Hi as Paul says unfortunately without failing your IVA and proposing another (which I would never recommend), it's nigh on impossible to change IP's.

Do talk to your IP and not a staff member if you're unhappy with the level of service received.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi Jess. Sorry to read that you are so unhappy with the service. I'm with Payplan too, and the problem is that we can't deal directly with our IP, but allocated Case Officers. Have you tried raising your concerns in writing? I had an issue regarding slow communication. The Team Leader picked up on it by file audit and personally phoned me to see if I wanted to raise it as a formal complaint. It was completely unexpected, but welcomed. It was resolved with my CO, but he assured me that I could contact him anytime. if you feel you can't sort it with your own CO, might it be worth you finding out who her/his TL is and liaise with them? Hope you get things sorted. x
IVA journey started: 30th March 2009. Settled: 17th July 2012. Completion Certificate received: 13th March 2013. Breathe. x

No IP should refuse to speak to their clients if their clients wish to speak with them. IPs are ultimately responsible for the proper running of their cases, and it would be interesting to know what excuses your firm are using for you not being able to speak to that person who holds such responsibility.
