I remember being at the gym around the time the iPhone 4 was released and there was one man leaning against a machine with his iPhone in his hand so everyone could see it - quite sad really!

And this isn't Apple-user bashing! I don't particularly care what phone people have, I just don't understand why some people think I'm a second class citizen because I don't think Apple is the greatest!

And can I just add that I'm not completely anti-Apple, I've got an iPod and a shuffle!

Mobile this, mobile that, mobile the other, I remember when there were only two important mobiles....one that came round the street selling sweets and certain groceries......the other one revolving above the babies cot.[:)]
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

You used to get the mobile police column as well which was when other forces were required for assistance. I believe the last one was 1966 for Aberfan.

Sorry to go all serious - it was just something that crossed my mind!!

I don't consider myself to be in any elite club and never have, I'm in an IVA and choose from personal choice to own an iphone, simple as that. I have until today not been aware of any iphone snobbery either, didn't know it existed but then again that's probably me being ignorant as in our house hubby has a samsung, daughter has a blackberry and I have the iphone and we never discuss the features of either between us, they're happy and I'm happy simple as! None of my friends compare phones either so not sure where the snobbery exists but it's not in my friendship groups x

There's lots of little Apple (and Android) fanbois out there that solely live for worshipping theirs/criticising the other ones Lesley. Sad little lives really.

I'll continue in ignorance then as I say I've never experienced it and never follow fashion and am fairly outspoken so will continue as I am...in my own little world.

Hi
I have a good old Nokia that you still press the buttons on, can't get used to all the touch screen stuff.

My kids love the latest phones but I simply find them too complicated

Going to wrap this thread up just in case it goes off in the wrong direction

Regards
