sorry about the car as i had the same thing, if there public tr they say use it, i had no concessions, regardless of 3 kids, i was told to get the bus, to work even tho it mean't leaving the kids at 7 instead of 8, i wasn't allowed any allowance for a car it had to be sold, hope its different for you, good luck.

Out of interest jayrob, who are you dealing with in Exeter? Our bankruptcy is being dealt with in Exeter too, and while I sat waiting for my interview it really shocked me at how young some of the 'examiners' were!! Surely you would be allowed to sell the car for £3k, buy a car for £2k and give the rest to the OR... or pay the £1,100 over the £2k limit.

she is called helen guswell and yes she did sound young, I was also surprised that she spoke to me about it. The other thing she said is that we may have to buy back rob's life insurance policy for £50 and she wasn't sure what would happen to our joint one.
I am going to try and get hold of Paul Johns and have a chat with him about it all.
