I don't know about anyone else, but I just hate this lack of control. I know my IP is busy, I know it's going to take 10 weeks or so to get everything organised. I know all this. But I want it done NOW!!!! It is taking every ounce of self control I have not to be phoning my IP every day and asking "is it sorted yet??".

I've done everything I can. Bank account is sorted, paperwork sent, letters to creditors sent. But I hate just sitting and waiting to hear something.

I think I'm a control freak. Pity I couldn't have more control when I was spending the money, eh? [:I]

So anyways, I know my IP reads some of these posts, so just in case they've figured out who I am on here I just wanted to say Sorry if I'm a nag, and just tell me to go away and let you do your job in future [:D]

Cheers

Johnz

Its the wanting it to be resolved isnt it. Just wanting the word that its sorted. I understand cos i felt the same way. Kinda like being in limbo...I am sure your IP understands how you feel. Try to keep busy...you have done everything asked of you, now it is just a waiting game. Best of luck x

You ARE in control!! I must say up until I admitted my debt problems I was NOT in control, in fact far from it!! I spent months frantically going from bank to bank, credit card to credit card, paying one against the other. I was well out of control!
You have more control than you think. Keep control of your money, behave and spend as if your IVA is already in place and trust in your IP [:)]
My thanks to Melanie and her team :)

JohnZ...just go relax under a tree like Charle Brown in your picture...Just because you dont hear from your IP doesnt mean nothing is happening!! worrying wont change the outcome...what will be will be.. In a few months time you will look back and think what on earth was i worrying about!! :o)

Hi John
Try to be patient I remember feeling exactly the same way, it all takes time and i know what you mean, once all the paperwork etc has gone off then it is just a waiting game and hopefully it wont be too long for you.

at least you got a picture, mine has gone. I am just the same, its like the last thing you think about at night and tbe first thing you wake up with every morning. Its like aaarrrrrgh, just want to move on. So I can identity with what youre going through. You cant do anymore than what you are doing now each day is one step closer. Come on here and have a moan if you need to. There is nothing else you can do, I find that if I get really, really fed up, it helps to have a run, or some type of physical work. What does patient mean??? I dont know but I aint got it.

I hope you had a good holiday ang.

I just had a horrible phone call from...... the hospital, should have gone this morning at nine, I thought it was tomorrow.

I have called the hospital back, they are always on a tuesday so I really didnt realise, I was going to cancel tomorrows as its half term, the fault was mine so I guess.... the girl didnt know me the others do. Never mind. I am fine thanks, no worries.

Hope you are doing OK.

John

All IP's are very busy at the moment, so perhaps it might be a better idea if you asked him/her exactly when they feel your proposal will be ready. If that is a date two weeks in future, please accept this, but then you do have something to then really nag them about if they do not deliver. Most good IP's will try and get your proposals produced as soon as they can, but the majority of us do independently verify a lot of the information provide, and this relied upon third party co-operation and not just documentation and information from yourselves.
