Today we recieved our chairmans report (annual review completed last month) We had previously recieved a letter saying that our payments would remain the same.

However once I had properly read through the review our IVA company have inflated mine and hubbys income and show our disposable income as £281. Our current payments are £210.

I completed the I&E in December with our incomes and its definitely not what has been listed - although our expenses are exactly.

I have just sent a strong worded email to customer services and I hope that the creditors haven't picked up on this error or they'll be looking more money. Obviously I now have to wait until Monday for a response, if they get back to me......... [:(!]

Hi briggadeen - not good news!

I hope you get a reply from customer services - if not then I would get in touch with the IP directly.

Grant Thornton

Until recently I had nothing but good to say about them but they've made a few mistakes re annual review [:(]

I think I have got my IP's email address should I just copy him into it?

Yes. They seem to be well regarded & I remember Mel pointing out that she would choose them.

They are normally quite good - I would certainly copy your IP into the email.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi Brigadeen - these things always seem to arrive at the weekend don't they. I am totally with you though...I check my paperwork and question the sums! My firm had inflated my salary too and when I picked over it I realised they has split a one-off bonus of £150 over a 12 month period to show a monthly salary increase despite that fact it was well within the 10% disregard. It may be something similar in your case too.

That's one thing my IP never did. My salary is as stated and has only altered with each review when I had a payrise.

Thankfully I don't get overtime or bonuses so have no worries on that score.

Hope it's sorted tomorrow.

Same here Jan. That was a one off. My salary is the same every month. My new job has a bonus scheme though but the max is 10% and most get about 8% so I know I won't have to pay anything over and have promised the chap a foreign holiday next summer. The rest is going into a house fund!!

Being public sector I've never had a bonus and overtime is a thing of the past unless I get called out which rarely happens (twice in 7 years for me!)

Don't blame you for going on a foreign holiday, I'd be the same. It will be nice for you both to get away and just forget about things.

I have had overtime in the past, as has hubby. I've just paid across overtime accrued but most of the time we can hold onto it because its under the 10%.

Here's hoping they'll be in touch tomorrow.
