Hi danielle and welcome to the forum

Sorry to hear you are having marriage problems[:(]

Is the iva in your name or does your husband have an interlocking iva with yours?

If you can answer the above question I am sure an expert will be able to advise you further

Best wishes

Hi there

That's a very high dividend for an IVA! Are you struggling because the payments are unfairly high? If this is the case, why not have a chat with your IP to see if the payments could be reduced. It is awful how debt can affect a relationship, and your marriage is far more important than having a few debts.

Hi,

It's a joint iva according to my iva company (blair endersby ltd).We got into the iva before we actually got in arrears, i'd been off sick for 3 months and used the cards for bills and general living, as well as christmas, some of our wedding costs and a holiday etc.Instead of speaking to my IP, would it be possible to change companies? As it stands we owe my mum money aswell.

Danielle

It will not really be possible to change your IP company, unless you have exceptional reasons and are prepared to apply to Court for a new Supervisor. Very costly for you, and perhaps not strictly necessary. Why not try and arrange to meet your IP face to face to see if you can resolve this issue amicably.
