If someone is in an IVA can they set up a Limited Company or do they need to wait until the IVA has finished?

Hi Clive and welcome to the forum.

Not sure about this at all - hopefully one of our experts will be along with some advice shortly.

Hi,

You would be unable to be a Company Director if you were bankrupt but in an IVA that shouldn't be a problem. It would be worth having a chat with your IP (assuming you are already in an IVA).

If you're not already in an IVA Clive then I'd recommend that you speak to an expert.

Visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews and give one or two a ring for some free and impartial advice.
