if i go bankrupt

hello i have debts of around 60,000 i have car worth around 1000 i live in rented accommodation, i recently started work for an agency and have about 100 pound left over each month if i go bankrupt would i pay this amount for the 3 years from the start of going bankrupt or after a year also if i get married how would this effect her and her income thanks

If you go bankrupt it is unlikely that you will pay anything towards an IPO.
If you marry it will not affect your partners finances

Hi b.k,

If you declared yourself bankrupt the OR (Official Receiver) may not see it worthwhile that you pay £100 for the next 3 years which would mean that you may be declared bankrupt on the day you visit the court and hopefully in 12 months you would be discharged.
