I finally have my meeting date set for early November! When I get to work tomorrow, I'm going to book the day off work as I will be a nervous wreck that day. I'll keep you all posted nearer the time. Thanks for your support thus far. Nothing more I can do now until the meeting so will try and relax!
Iva completed with a F&F. Completion certificate received Jan 2017
At last eh! Well not too much longer to wait now thank god. And a day off work is definitely recommended.Good luck and be sure to let us know how it goes.
IVA started Sept 2012, Full & Final accepted Aug 16th 2016 & CC issued 10th Jan 2017

So my variation meeting is next week. Beginning to get nervous. My original iva proposal had a variation when I got the call during the meeting due to Nram. They wanted more money and a 6 year term. Scared they will do the same. Are variations to F&F offers common? Dare I dream it might be accepted, what happens then? From reading on here I'm not free of iva until completion certificate is received but what happens once my family have paid the money? Can this be overridden or is binding to finish my Iva?

If it is accepted then nothing can be overridden. It will be binding to finish the IVA. The only thing is that if you won the lottery or had an inheritance before the completion was issued then it might make a difference - doubt that would happen though!
Good luck for next week!!

The majority of variations are accepted these days -- believe it or not, the creditors are as keen to get it out of the way too -- toxic debt looks bad on their books and, if the debt has been sold on, the new owners will settle for a fast profit, rather than playing around with collecting dividends.
