I think I did exactly the same! tbh, it was on my mind constantly, but as said b4, once it was through and all looked great and the meeting date got set, only then did I chill out! Really do hope you get yours soon. It will happen! :)

Rang for an update. Circular has been signed off but needs checking. Been told hopefully will be sent out to me next week but they're very busy. Been told that meetings are now being booked for middle of November and that's not even mine :-( A fair wait to go. Been told if F&F accepted, then it'll be 3 months after that til I get a completion certificate.

Frustrating......! But at least you know the proposal has been done and just waiting to be checked. It will happen and before you know it hopefully you'll be just waiting on your CC. We're 6 weeks on now and no sign of it but was told 3 months, so until then I won't even bother hassling Payplan! Your time will come ok. :)

It all seems very strange to me. A company that has not got the staff to call a simple variation within the agreed timescale is also in discussions to lay off half their staff.

This does not bode well for anyone who is with Payplan. Personally I would look now at escalating this via a complaint because three months is far too long.

Doesn't stop them taking on more work though --- no-one ever seems to learn!

Thanks Michael. How would I go about doing so please? I don't want to upset them so they stall things further but if complaining will help speed things up I will.

I think sometimes that pestering seems to help, even if only to get you off their backs!

I've been to ringing them bi weekly Kallis. Think that has helped. I'm being hassled by my mortgage company as I'm in arrears for 2 months of the difference between interest and repayment amounts. Now I'm paying the full ref repayment amount but nothing towards my Iva. It's all very stressful and the mortgage company at least want a date of the meeting.

Insist on speaking to someone higher up the food chain and tell them that you will make a complaint if things aren't dealt with quickly.

I complained yesterday about a lack of communication and that my messages in Payplan plus don't get answers. They sent me a letter within half an hour by email, saying they looked into the complaint, upheld it and then closed it! Wasn't reassuring and just felt like they were following procedure.

I never had a problem with Paplan when I used Payplanplus and always got any answer back straight away.

If you are not happy with this then tell them you are escalating it to the next level.

Perhaps you should consider a complaint to the Gateway. Give them one more chance to let you speak to the IP otherwise proceed with a formal complaint. It seems you are being fed platitudes with no real answer and this is not good enough.

I've got my circular but it has the bankruptcy clause in it. Just rang them and asked for it to be removed. The variation team weren't there so the person I spoke to said he'd ask and if it's possible then they'll email me a new version in the morning.

All the rest seems fairly standard I think. I was so nervous reading through it. It brought back memories of my original paperwork and how I felt then.
