I HAVE BEEN PAYING MY BANCRUPTCY FOR 4 YEARS. WHAT HAPPENS IF I STOP PAYING? I THINK I WOULD RATHER DEAL WITH THE CREDITORS ON MY OWN.

Hi t69 and welcome to the forum.

I am a little confused by your post as you say that you have been paying your BR for 4 years - unless an income payment agreement/order is deferred for any reason it only lasts for 3 years.

Do you mean that you are paying into an IVA or DMP? If it's an IVA and you have been paying for 4 years then you are nearly at the end and it would be a shame to stop paying now.

Please can you give us some more information so that we can help you.
