Not exactly the same situation as you're in but I was working in an (MOD) SC cleared job when I took out my IVA; didn't cause any problems, I told my employer and they didn't care one way or the other. While still in the IVA I went through an FCO SC process with no problem although I did have to have an extra telephone interview to review my 'personal financial situation' it wasn't a problem.
My advice, tell your line management that you're in an IVA and be open aand honest with them.
Hope it goes ok!

I work for a Civil Service department and I was ok. My terms of employment stated I had to inform them but they were ok about things

I was a police support worker and they were fine about it. You could make an anonymous call to your HR department and ask the question.

Your employer won't be informed by the IVA company.

Working for the MOD and NOT telling them that you are in an IVA is probably just about the worst thing you can do. They will see it at your next SC review and if you haven't told them I am afraid that will not go down well.

I had to withdraw from contract work with the police whilst in an iva.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

You've been in an IVA without them finding out for 5 years.

Check your employment contract to see if you are supposed to declare it.

Have an anonymous conversation with HR to see whether they are concerned.

Alternatively carry on as you are given you are presumably closing in on finishing it.
