What can i say, i am thinking i am finally DEBT FREE!!! my IVA is all paid up and all i am doing is just waiting for my completion certificate.
I have spent this months extra money in Booking a Nice Holiday and as you have to wait 2 months for your CC to arrive i thought WHY NOT!!! its the least i deserve.
I am not really worried really as i am not ever going down the credit route again anyway.
BUT!!!! i get a phone call today telling me that from last year i have a shortfall of £145 and i have spent this months extra money.
I have explained to them what has happened and i have agreed to pay this in on the 24th as my Dad is going to give me the money.
But as soon as this is paid then my CC will be arriving.
At least i know i will be Finally DEBT FREE!!!!

2months to wait for your certificate ?? You must be with an excellent company. 2 years has been the norm if you are with a certain company who will be nameless but we all know who they are.
I am totally free now with certificate filed away after a very long wait Good luck

Hi andrew.
What a b****er for you. I know that come septs pay I will be treating myself and im thinking of book a nice holiday for next year before the end of this year. At least the amount is not that high in the scheme og things (although I know too high after the long iva journey).

Hope ur holiday is wonderful. Yes you do deserve it.

enjoy your holiday and once this payment is made you're done and once that CC is received you'll be totally debt free...
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I am not too worried about it really as either way it is going to get paid but it is just annoying.
I have paid thousands in and I just owe £145 only which isnt the end of the world which was little bit of overtime I did last year in April.
Anyway I think I was with the best firm and IP when I chose Melanies company as they have been fantastic to deal with and really helped me out when times got frustrating and tough

We'll get your case closed for you as soon as we can Andrew - and don't worry about the slip up with the uplift payment. It happens and I am content to wait until your Dad can afford it.

Hope you have a lovely holiday. You truly deserve it!

Thanks Melanie!!!!
It's no big deal as I had a feeling something like this was going to happen but at least I know it is mostly all over and will get this paid in after my Dad gets back from his Holiday
