also if this is all put right can the creditors still fail our iva at the annual review?Even though our payments are all up todate?
Sorry for the questions but have not been able to talk in lenght with accuma!as they will not really give me a yes or a no as to whether my mum can pay this for me!

Try not to worry about it too much poppy, I am sure your IP will receive all the paperwork needed to make an informed decision. We are all only human at the end of the day, the good thing is you have tried to rectify your mistake. There is no more you can do about it now. As for the Army, I am not too sure about the rank issue as my husband is in a different force so not sure if its different policies. All the best of luck with this ok. Take care.

Give them a ring again this morning... am I right in thinking that if the TV is paid for then the amount claimed will be as per the original amount??? If so then I really cant see the problem with paying it off. Why do they need to see the statements first? You've explained the situation....if I were you then I would phone them AGAIN and ask for a response, is this account gaining even more interest while you wait for a decision????
I really cant see a problem if its paid off??? How can it be preferential treatment of a creditor if by paying the TV off simply returns the amount back to the original.....or I am having a totally blonde morning[:p]

no you are right once the tv(which i got in the first place because the other had broke & i had no way of doing a home learn course i had been bought as a gift to do while on mat leave, cos i had to keep watching a dvd to help me learn)Also i remembered i also got some drawers for the new baby form there as well!!totally forgot about that. But yes you are right in saying once the account with studio is settled then it is all as was approved at the original meeting.
I thougth that also why see the statments cos dos it matter what i have or havent got form studio since!i jus want it payed off to carry on as normal or to see where i go next if it is failed.
Cant see why it nedds days for them to say yes all ok pay it or no!!
Yes it is gaining interest while i wait!!!!

i was naive in thinking at the time that cos i already had the account running with studio & money owing on which wasnt included in the iva, then id be ok to get this n add it on!I think it was silly of me.if id have thought about it clearly!but i did not n no point worrying now it will go one way or the other.
The drawers were for the babys clothes as i oonly have a small house & he has to sharea room with my other son,so if i didnt have the drawers i dwouldnt have any where to put his things.
But like i say no point in making excuses as to why i got this & why i got that! Its done now!

Personally I would just ask your mum to pay off the drawers and tv! Then its all done and dusted. I would ring your IP up and tell them explain that your mother is going to loan you the money, and that it is all paid. Then after this has been done ring studio and get them to send an ammended statement asap (fax if possible) to your IP!
But whatever you do.....no more credit!![;)]

No i know i know!!what a mess.
I told them i wanted to get it sorted yesterday but i was just told that i had to hold off a day or two!( i presume because she wants to see the statments)i dont get it!not as if weve missed payments either!
To be honest i dont feel like accuma you get a chance to speak to the ip,its always some dogs body that hasto chat to herfirst,so feels like your in a que waiting to hear, which is unfair in away considering it is about me & my affairs.i know its me thats got in this mess, but still more communication is needed. One girl i have to speak to jus sounds like she cant be bothered to listen, not what you want!!
Im reluctant to jus pay it off cos if i do & it fails then in a way ive jus wasted my mums money cos ill go br.
Also i know pthers have said it wont fail cos it isnt in there interest but her wanting to see the statments first is making me think this will be the case.
God ive droned on this wk

I know what you mean about not speaking to your IP, we are with a battery farm too! I know what you mean about wasting your mums money. I guess its just a sit and wait game then! Be sure to let us know the outcome ok, just put it too the back of your mind and have a good day[:o)]

Poppy

You really have to see this from both sides, I know you feel bad and the waiting seems endless because youre desperate but your IP would have put a lot of work in to get your IVA accepted for you.

I am not judging you and can understand your fear but at the end of the day the company will be struggling to get other stressed people's IVA's through and if you can imagine being in the shoes of your IP you would be able to understand the frustration. It does need full consideration to find a way forward after your breach.

Hang in there.

No worries poppy. I agree with you about the forum, a problem shared is a problem halved! I just dont know where I would be without you lot. For me know its become a therapy I suppose...it helps me too realise we are not alone in all this, and that feels good[^]!
