Hi Everyone

Just visiting this site as I had been working on a very difficult and interesting mortgage problem for a very good friend and thought back to the days when I was talking and infact met some of you at the special events!

Life just took over and sadly my wife and I seperated and we wnt on our different ways.

Live and work in Windsor and coping.

The experience of my IVA has taught me to be flexible and to look at the other side as well.

With the financial crisis and the effect it had on the banks in 2008, one can't help thinking they got what they deserved with their reckless lending and just loading billions of debt on families and individuals who clearly could not cope with it.

Those going through the IVA and bankruptcy process, I can only say that it is horrible but life will return to some degree of normality and there will be another chance to rebuild your lives! Trust me!!!

Talk soon and Good Luck!!!!

Ray

Hi Ray,

Great words but sorry to hear about you and your wife.

We had our f&f offer accepted today and I can honestly say that in the space of a year I have gone from depressed and not knowing what to do to almost being debt free (about 6 weeks to get the cash to pay off the IVA).
I only wish I had done this sooner.

Take care.

Thanks Ray!

I remember that, it was the first Frugal Friends I went to! We got lost and arrived towards the end of the meeting - I was mortified walking in! I try and get the FF if I can and I finally made it to the Christmas one last year!
