The new Debt Management Protocol does not contain any guarrantee that Creditors will freeze interest on their debts.
It is up to the skill of the DM Provider to negotiate that - this was an issue but bank creditors in particular were not willing to go "that mile".
In practice our debt management provider subsidiary (Abacus)manages to negotiate in 95% of all cases an interest freeze.
