I havent cut mine up because I have heard some companies actually ask for them back to close the account..
Creditors meeting set for 2nd June....

Cut them up - I did that with all mine and if they asked for them I just told them what I had done.

It will make no difference to them closing your account.

Oooo I forgot about the credit card cheques, will have to dig them out and shred them!

or write one out to yourself for a million pounds, frame it and put it on the wall. Whilst out shopping the other day I did notice a responsible lender thier sign said "credit is only given to over 80's and providing they are accompanied by both parents"

I think you should all save these letters and on November 5th lets organise a Thrifty Friends meeting with a bonfire - and guess what burn all these letters/statements!
