I was thinking of either Melaine Giles or David Mond as they clearly seem to know what they are talking about. I just panicked one night about my debt and the first company I came to were DFD. But after seeing reviews they dont look so good.

It is worth ringing at least another 2 and Melanie and DAvid are both true proffessionals either of whom will give you excellent service.

I am sure that either David or I would be delighted to help you make your decision - and if it does not feel right for you at the outset, it probably isn't.

Apart from other people's reviews, is there anything in particular which you have not liked about this firm since they commenced acting for you?
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

No, they have been ok up to now but after reading the bad reviews it has made me rather nervous about trusting them. How would I contact either yourself or David? Thank You

Thank You. I appreciate it. I will be at work in the morning. Do you think it will be possible for someone to ring me about 1.30 tomorrow afternoon or can I ring you.

Hi Newtoallthis.
Just to let you know that we are with DFD and they have been excellent, very professional and efficent. Our first review last December went well with no increase on payment.
I would highly recommend them to anyone.

personally I would not recommend them. One person will tell you one thing, and another something completely different. I would suggest that if you ask them a question, ask them to put the answer in writing. We have had problems with regards to the amount we should pay, I wont go into that on this as I have said about it elsewhere on this forum. Looking back now, I wish I had looked at other companies but at the time we were desperate and just wanted it over and done with. Good Luck

We are with DFD. They have been great whenever we have had worries. Yes they are a bit slow sometimes, but if we ring they can always help. Our annual reviews have been straightforward, and then when we needed a payment break it was sorted within a few days.
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

DFD are getting mixed reviews abit like marmite you love them or hate them. With Melanie or David you get exactly what it says on the tin and will get any concerns dealt with promptly.

DFD are fine - very fair and very professional - it is everyone's choice as to who they go with - but DFD get too many bad comments on this forum - as others have said they have been great with us too - communication has been good in writing , by phone or over the email - we have had a good relationship with them now over the last 2 years and I personally do not consider it to have been a bad move going to them !
