Hi,

First of all, congratulations on your baby news, hope everything goes ok.

Secondly, speak to your IP about this, most are sympathetic and will arrange a payment break whilst you are on maternity leave.

You will have to submit a new I&E as well afterwards so that your payments can be re assessed.

I have had lots of clients have babies while I have been supervising their arrangements, the key is to looking at your finances now, and at what you expect them to be when you are off on maternity leave and also when you return to work. Treat it as sort of a three step plan, and then your IP will be able to advise you whether they feel a variation of the IVA terms is a viable option.
