i have a joint mortgage with my wife who is a teacher.she is not in debt but i am and am looking to take control with an iva.when my mrotgage is up for renewal will it seriously affect us renewing?

If it is with your current provider, you may be ok. If you go to a different one, if you are in an IVA it might prove a little more difficult, especially in todays economic climate.

Hi
As Jan states you will find it very difficult to chanfe and may pay premium. Expect to stay with your existing lender
