So do I shell other forums are suggesting a DMP but seems like that will go on forever that scares me a bit
unless i could F&F some of them. I would not be able to put much into it.

I am so scared on everything at the moment and am going to ruin my marriage and family

dont do anything rash, if you have some time tomoz please speak to mel or tina again!!!! as for you feeling pushed into a dmp, dont be pushed!!!! im not saying that goin into an iva is easy coz it isnt, but it does help you back in control of your finances!!! nothing is worth losing your family over. the main thing for i remember when i went into an iva was i felt ashamed and embarrassed of the situation i was in, and what would people think if they found out, now is a different story as i am in a lot better position than alot of people i know!!! [:)] try and not worry to much!!!!

I don't feel pushed into a DMP necessarily however I am not sure what I should do and I feel trapped and heading fast towards bankruptcy and that scares me senseless I am sitting here having chest pains I cant keep calm and don't know what to do. The other forum is accusing me at looking for the quick fix but I am not

I would not bother too much about what is said on forums Ox, the people that post on this and other ones really will never get a full picture of your finances, and you should definately not be judged by anyone.

I see that you have spoken to Tina. If it would help to speak to me directly, I am around all day tomorrow - and if you want me to pop up to the Midlands to see you, then I can.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

Ox, Please take up Melanie's offer, we are very early into our IVA journey, 5 months to be exact and i really do know how scary it is.

I think our circumstances are a little different to yours however Melanie and her team are fantastic and as soon as we spoke to Tina/Marc and met with Melanie we were instantly put at ease and felt so much better.

We were treated with respect and never made to feel bad for the circumstances that we found ourselves in.

Hang in there you will be fine

xx
25 months down.....We will be debt free!

Don`t be afraid of the tears Ox. I know what you`re saying, men don`t cry eh?. Depression is a very serious illness. I didn`t want to leave the house. Mrs H dragged me to the seaside one day because I was so introspective and I never spoke, just glared into the distance on a boat trip while I kept chasing those thoughts around my head.
The good thing is there is light at the end of the tunnel, believe me. I`m still here, living proof.
Talk to Mel and share your fears.[:)]

Since the 24th I have spoken numerous times with Stepchange, started this contract which btw i at first did not have. I have set up the new bank account for the DMP but it has taken forever to get set up. I am needing to try and get through a bit longer to pay my normal bank bills as they have not transferred stuff over so I am a bit stuck at the moment in limbo, need bank details to send SC and then I can set up the DMP. I admit I have been a bit frozen by terror with it all, wanted wife to take over but she is not good at this type of stuff. Anyway I am going to try and give up other forum as you lot are alot more helpful and dont shout. I have very little people to talk to about this and thought I could air my views on there, but seem to annoy people when I do so
