Well , if anyone remembers from previous posts, I started a DMP with the Debt Support Company in November last year. To recap all my creditors were helpful bar HSBC. I decided to go down the IVA rout in January this year and was referred to Tenon Debt Solutions. Over the next few months things seemed to be moving slowly, no proposal etc. They were always contactable and promised things had been sent in the post or e-mailed etc, but never did. Lately I was told that things are getting finalised and won't be long. They told the DMP company the same. As I was now getting seriously alarmed by the delay, the DMP company tried to put some pressure on the IVA people to sot things out.

The upshot, the guy dealing with my application has been sacked, the company appear to be in chaos and actually nothing, zero had been done towards my IVA!!!!!!!!!! Lies after lies.

The DMP company have now withdrawn all their clients from Tenon and basically in regards to the IVA I have to start all again!!. I have now had phone discussions with McCambridge Duffy and am having a full phone interview with them next week.

I must stress that I have no concerns with my DMP company at all they have been excellent and are horified by what has happened with Tenon.
So here we go again, stress and anxiety levels have gone through warp factor 8. I wil update as I go along.

Gosh Julian, that's really bad! Your DMP company sound as though they are on the ball though. Could you not have done your IVA through them? It sounds as though they could have sorted things out for you much sooner.

Now you are back on the right track, fingers crossed that it goes through in double quick time so your stress levels can come back down to normal!

As for HSBC, they were one of my main creditors and were no help at all when I was DMP, but no problem when I went IVA last week (they didn't vote!)

Hi Kallis, no the Debt Support COmpany are not licensed Insolvency Practitioners so don't deal directly with IVA.
I would recomend them though.
Incidentally one of my HSBC debts has been passed on to Metropolitan Collection services. Anyone had any dealings with them?

Yes, my HSBC credit card was passed onto them initially, and then sold on to Robinson Way. I seem to remember having a few phone calls from them asking about payment, but I just told them I was in DMP and they would be getting a payment. They accepted the amount offered and that was it. Robinson Way were quite good as well. One of the better debt firms I have dealt with.
