I am totally disgusted with Grant Thornton. I have contacted them on numerous occasions wanting to know when I will be receiving my certificate and to date I am no closer to an answer. 11 months I have been waiting for an answer and every time I call I am told they will look into it and get back to me. What is holding up the closure process? I stuck to my arrangement having paid up and above what I should have. I do not appreciate the way I am being treated, is this the norm when closing accounts. Please advise as I have truly had enough.

Hi Linda,
Unfortunately this is the norm at the moment for Grant Thornton and other companies whilst they make their way through the minefield that is called PPI claims and the VAT issue.
Some people have been waiting well over a year. You will get your completion letter but it's a case of being patient for a while longer I'm afraid.

Yes Linda, I'm afraid Niobe is right. I know I bang on about the time it takes clients to get their CCs but I guess you just have to be a little more patient.
