Echo others views ....you must insist on your IP talking to you rather than the caseworker/admin staff....this in my opinion is totally unreasonable.....all you have done is shifted your payment date by 4 days to take into account your change in salary payment date etc......let us know how you get on.

These comments about Payplan surprise me! Obviously I can only speak for my own experience but apart from the closure debacle they have been incredibly understanding, supportive and accommodating throughout my arrangement. Perhaps I have been lucky with the case officers i've had but I couldn't imagine them NOT being flexible when needs arise.

Sounds like someone there has fired off a standard letter without noting the actual facts of Amanda's case. I imagine that this can be easily resolved by some direct communication between her and her case manager.

Hi Amanda, I am very sorry to read about the letter that you have received. These letters are sent manually by case officers two weeks after a missed payment so this may be in relation to the delayed November payment. However, this is no excuse for the worry that it has caused as your case officer should have been aware of your current situation.
If you are sorting this out with your case officer directly, it should all be resolved quickly. However, if you would like me to look into it for you my email address in on my profile and I will see what I can do for you.
Many Thanks

Gemma ... a suggestion, if I might be so bold:

After a missed payment, would it not be better to ask if there are any specific problems that caused the missed payment and offer to help, rather than threatening action before knowing the circumstances ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi Foggy, thank you for your comment. While I agree with what you have said, this would usually be the case. However, without knowing the specifics on this particular case I am unable to comment on what has happened.
Many Thanks

I thought all IVAs you were allowed up to 3 missed monthly payments
Seems its an automated letter thats been sent

Surprising really when you are paying for the IVA company to monitor the IVA for you I would assume ( Stealing Nicole Schwerzingers whatever her name is line ) A human being who would deal with it ?

Customer care again but everybody makes mistakes and things happen
just shows you that when you are the payee they are on your case in a flash When you complete the IVA you wait for weeks on end for a reply or an update

It is not a case of being allowed to miss payments, more a default if you miss more then three. Appreciate that this amounts to the same at the end of the day.
