Hi Everyone

Well the Creditors meeting took place today after what feels like an eternity...even though it was only three weeks! and it got accepted, Yipeee!

I had the usual modifications 50% overtime etc and they wanted an increase of £15 per month but that was it.
I am paying £400 per month giving them 42p/£

HSBC- voted Yes!
Co-Op - Voted Yes
MBNA- Voted No

and Student Loans Company, Lloyds and the Post Office did not vote.

It is such a huge relief now to know that I am finally starting to get on top of my debts.

Thank you to Melanie and her team, I can't recommend them enough [:D]

Hi Sarah

Thank you for your comment

It does seem like a lucky day for IVA's getting accepted, as i've seen that a few people on here have had theirs accepted today as well!

As for HSBC saying Yes maybe they are finally coming round to the idea that IVA's are better than Bankruptcy in some cases.

I'm off to celebrate now with a nasty bottle of cheap wine [xx(]...it's going to be like being a Uni student again!

Hi DevonLassie

Isn't it a great feeling to get your proposal accepted. Like you I'm grateful to Melanie, Sarah and co. for all their help.

Even though everybody on here has told Melanie to enjoy her holiday and switch off her email I'm sure she's finding a quiet moment in the Fjords to check her Blackberry. If so thank you so much for all your help Melanie.

Regards

Dave
