One of the credit ref agencies, I cant remember which one, says that I have a negative aspect on my report because I dont have any settled accounts.

So who do I go to to get one?

My IVA has finally completed and my only interest in my reports is to clear them up so that we can increase the mortgage to buy a bigger house. I dont intend to get any credit cards. The only thing I may do is move my phone contract into my own name but there would be no chance in closing it any time soon.

Any suggestions?

you are basically stuffed for a full six years whilst the IVA shows in the public record section of your CR. Post six years most stuff drops automatically. However either experian or equifax can't remember which put your IVA in the notice of correction section. Call up the UK call centre and ask for it to be removed they'll do this over the phone

Thanks but thats all fine. I wasnt asking about getting the IVA off the reports. My IVA started 7 years ago so its dropped off two but one wants the completion certificate before they take it off, so I'll be sending it shortly as I received it yesterday.

I was asking about settled accounts.

I think you'll find that once that IVA has dropped off, the accounts marked as settled or unsettled just drop off anyway at a guess
