going through the IVA process now - I just want to get it up and running.

i owe

10 k loan to mint
1.5 k mint credit card
£200 barlcay card credit card
2.9 k "overpaid tax credits" (i told them about my payrise, but apparently they carry on paying you then claim the money back - nice one if u know that.)
20k lloyds tsb loan
2.5k lloyds overdraft.

so about 37 k

ive been told to go for £266 a month

does this sound feasible?

i owe llyods alot of the money - are they ok for accepting less then 40 / £

im not sure what the dividend is - cant be alot?

im scared - what if they dont accept? i really really do not want to go BR.

The creditors that you have listed are all usually open to IVA proposals ranging from 25p in the £. Factor in IP fees of c£6500 and I think you have yourself a reasonable proposal. As long as this is the best offer you can make, I would be confident of getting this proposal accepted.

Hi Rich
Your dividend is going to be the minimum 25p by the looks of it.

Hi Rich,

Thomas Charles makes a good point regarding putting forward your best offer. Although an IVA is based on what you can afford, you also have to pay as much back as you possibly can.

Lloyds do not have a minimum dividend requirement of 40p/£ like HSBC do. In my experience the creditors you have mentioned are usually receptive to IVA proposals.

well, at least i picked good creditors.

see how it goes, i did and income and expendature sheet with thomas charles and they proposed that would be a suitable offer.

see how it goes, TBH, i just want to start paying the IVA, if it passes, so i can see a light at the end of the tunnel.

long tunnel tho.

i do anything rather then go BR.

And just to confirm from that this looks like a good offer Richard, subject to confirming the level of your disposable income. You would not really want to go any lower than the £266 you have been quoted.
