So after 84 payments I finished my IVA September last year and I received an email from them the other day to say my completion certificate was on the way.
The first company was Invocas the second was Clear Debt and now its Appeture,Clear Debt claimed PPI and I was told I would get the first £500 as a good will gesture but I never received this . Once I get my completion certificate and I know they will not be a cheque in there for me for £500 how should I go about claiming it please

You would need to speak to your current and possibly previous IP to see if this money will be sent. It may have been blocked by creditors for example but only your own IP will know.

Some firms, in the past, made promises they could not keep --- usually not making it clear that creditor approval was pending ( and might never have been forthcoming). Also, due to the changed=s in Supervisor, this promise might just get overlooked.
I would suggest a polite word with Aperture to remind them and see what the possibility of payment is.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Do not wait for the completion certificate because by that time all the funds will have been distributed to creditors. If you are entitled to the money request it now while there is still something in the pot to pay you with.

Hi, we was with clear debt when my ppi was sorted a month or so later I was transferred to aperture I spoke to both about my £500 and aperture deposited it a couple months later into my bank they said they had to sort it out with clear debt apparently as they had not received the ppi payment and was in an account somewhere so had no idea i had been given ppi already by the time they took over, but the £500 goodwill gesture was in our contracts do aperture said they would still honour it as my contract had not changed only companies
