HOW RUDE!!!!

I have just got off the phone from a company called power2contact. The advisor was a complete a**ehole!!! They are refusing to accept that I am bankrupt and asked for a copy of the br papers be sent to them, which I refused to do as they are already aware that I am bankrupt as the OR has notified them on 25th March and I gave them the details approx 4 weeks ago. He refused to give his name to me again until I told him that I was hard of hearing and that I didn't catch it at the begining of the call(little fib I have to confess) and that I assumed they were regulated by the FSA and they had to provide me with a name. He spoke over me and would not let me speak to a supervisor or even give a name of a supervisor.......telling me to ring back in 10mins time!!
After contacting the OR we had been told by them that companies will not accept notification of bankruptcies from anyone other than OR's....when will this harrassment stop??
I intend to write to the company to complain and pass on the details to my OR for them to contact them
Sorry about the rant but I am absolutely fuming with this pretentious little k**b!!!

Chris, how awful for you! Courtesy costs nothing, although the people who make these calls must think it does. There is no need to be rude and they should listen to what you say and not talk over you.

As you are br, there isn't a lot they can do anyway is there? I know that I would not be sending anything to them, nor would I speak to them again in future.

I have just had a phone call from a very rude Asian man who was either from O2 or a third party - couldn't understand what he said! When I told him I did not want insurance and had never asked for any, he just put the phone down!

I think these people need to go to charm school!

They have a website. I've just been on there and looked at their terms and conditions. He would appear to have breached a couple of them.

Thanks everyone, just had a quick look there and he does seem to be in breach of their code of conduct. I will be writing to complain and asking that the call be pulled and listened to and that they send this employee to either additional training or the job centre!! This is a time when I hope that Karma is possible and people get back 10 fold what they dole out....[}:)]

Well, I've sent them an email to lodge the complaint. I'll send the letter they sent to me onto my OR and hopefully they will be able to stop them from threatening to arrive on my door-step, I guess I'm going to have to train my big, soft, soppy staffie to look mean and growl....lol
The OR did say not to allow them in the house and show them the br form IF they did turn up. They must have got my address from the insolvency register as the OR said they do not give out br's personal details.....so why do they need proof of br....they already know!!!

These people must be so bitter! Perhaps something has happened to them in the past and this is a way of getting rid of their frustrations!

I would love to ask them how they can live with themselves when they have upset people. I couldn't do it.

Thanks Debbie & Kallis, I contacted them as they are threatening to send out a door collector, wish I hadn't now though, haven't had a ciggie for nearly 8mth but I could smoke a packet now! lol [:(!]

IF they did, once you have told them to leave you can use reasonable force to eject them as they become trespassers. I'd love to be able to do that!!!!!

If they have got your address from the Insolvency Register then they KNOW you have gone bankrupt! Can't see where they are coming from with this.

I think the threat of the collectors is just that - a threat designed to scare you.

The swine, he is obviously on a power trip. Write to the manager of the company and compain about the rudeness mention a complaint to the FSA. There is no need for this kind of horse **** and I can so understand your anger. Make the little bastard squirm, in fact, why dont you phone him every ten minuites and intimidate him?? Just to show him youre not intimidated or angry as thats what gives him his power. I hate swines like this, in fact, I want to blow their heads off. It really does bring out the thug in me.

If he turns up, phone the police, tell them, someone is trespassing and there is lilkey to be an assualt. Make sure you punch his lights out before they come, that'll teach him.
