How long will I have to wait after paying off an IVA before I can apply for a mortgage. Please advise.

Your iva has to have dropped off the insolvency register ( that can take up to 3 months) .on the 6th anniversary of when you started your iva your credit file will be clean, You will need to actively clean your files up though. (Which isn't difficult, just a bit time consuming)
IVA COMPLETED & CLEAN CREDIT FILE.
An old bible proverb says this: the rich one rules the poor, and the borrower is a slave to the lender.
How true are those words of wisdom.

After the iva has been removed from your credit file you should approach a mortgage broker who will have experience of helping ex-iva'ers onto the property ladder.
