A creditirs meeting is normally on the agreed date with an extension of a few days if creditor votes need to be worked on if initially they do not give 75% of the vote in favour to accept the iva proposal.
I would have hoped after 10 days a decision was known .. have you phoned your IP for an update ? I think I would be phoning daily if it were me now ...

You should certainly have heard on the day and by the following day at the latest. If there were problems they should have phoned and spoken to you about them.

Chase them up on Monday.

Thanks.
Some of the creditors wanted me to sell my vehicle and cancel my sickness policy so as to provide more disposable income!
The vehicle is not worth very much and I need this for work and the sickness policy is very useful and I needed this for a recent operation.
Thanks for your quick replies.
I will ring them Monday morning and will let you know the outcome.
Thanks

My company tried to get me to sell the car as well but we refused. They can be sticklers for insurance policies though!

Ok i see!
I have used the insurance quite a lot as I needed a hip replacement that nhs refused to perform as Im too young, so I may have grounds to keep this with another operation in the pipeline?

You may well do but stress this when you speak to them.

You clearly use the policy so it is unfair to ask for it to be cancelled. It may be an idea to offer an extra few payments on to the end and ask to keep the policy as it would be very difficult if not impossible to replace.
