Hi Guys
Just a quick question, i sent my proposal back signed at the weekend, how long am i looking at realisticaly before i get a date for the creditors meeting.
i just hate all this waiting, the company i have been using have been really good so far and quick in getting stuff to me just wondering if this is going to be as quick or whether there is a standard length of time?
im happily ignoring the phone from every number i dont like the look of. Do i need to send my company any letters i get or can i just ignore them?

But that's the exception David - the majority don't get sorted that quickly.

AS I remember mine was about 2-3 weeks after sending back my proposal.
An IP needs to give a set time to creditors before the meeting can be called and I think this is around 14-21 days. I am sure a professional will claify the correct time.
You are on the home straight now[:)]
Good luck

Not less than 14 days and not more than 28 days has to be given to creditors for the meeting to approve or otherwise the IVA Proposal.

Send them on to your company and let them deal with it.
Good luck for the 27th.

At least you have a date now to focus on and hopefully it will all be sorted on that day for you.
You can send the letters to your IP, I did not send every single one but if I got one I was worried about or something different from the standard I did send to my IP.
