My final IVA payment was 18 months ago and included a large PPI refund but Varden Nuttall are claiming that they can't issue a completion certificate until they have exhausted attempts to claim any more PPI that may be due. As far as I'm aware there is no more PPI money that can be claimed back from any of my creditors so does anyone know how long they can hold back on issuing my completion certificate?
They will need to conclude their investigations, but they ought to be able to give you an anticipated timescale on this, and possibly they can issue you a completion certificate by taking an assignment of any further debts - so long as more have been identified.
I have the same concern. I have three payments left to make, Simple Debt Solutions have had a substantial PPI contribution returned to them, however there are others which have been explored which I believe hold no PPI value per say. Can a C of C be issued if there are other PPI claims ongoing with no potential return? Some of these lenders who are being challenged don't even exist anymore (1st plus?). I'm concerned that there will never be full closure.
Thankyou to all for advice.
