cahoot have put a default date of 12/10/2006, when the start date of the iva was 04/09/2006, obviously next month the others will be off my credit report, but this will linger another month, which is what i dont want. How do i get them to alter it to what it should be.

Hi,

Write to the data controller for that firm enclosing a copy of your completion letter and tell them to remove that default although to be fair, what difference would one more month make?

I think the odd month here or there isnt usually much of an issue. Jason it could take them 2 or 3 months to change the entry anyways so not sure its worth your time and effort to get it changed.

I agree with Niobe and Plasticdaft, one month isn't really going to make a difference at this stage.

When you write to the data controller you must give them 28 days to correct the entry and then allow a couple of weeks for the credit file to be updated as this isn't done daily.

I would let sleeping dogs lie now.
