1st off get copies of all your credit reports to ensure that defaults all all dated correctly and removed at the 6 year point. Did your IVA run for 5 years? To rebuild you rating start by opening a catalogue account(easier to get),which will have a low credit limit which you can pay off each month. You could also apply for a high rate credit card(like vanquis)(dont let the 39%APR put you off),you wont pay any interest if you clear the account in full every month.
It may take some time before you are at a level where high street lenders want your business.

If you get copies of your credit files now,you can check that no defaults have been added after the start date of your IVA(they should drop off the files 6 years from IVA beginning).

Hi Sarah,
You can write to them or do it via there websites. There is a cost involved and you will need to contact each one as sometimes they hold different information

As all 3 may hold differing information about you its wise to get a copy from all of them, and it can be done as Rayb says via their websites.
