Hello Mish.g and Welcome,

I was just telling another poster, usually its best to contact at least 2 or 3 debt solution companies to make sure you have been given the right advice.

Although there are some dodgy companies out there, there are also alot of good reputable companies. You could start by trying the companies on this site.

Hi mish.g and welcome to the forum. Have a look at www.iva.com at the reviews of various companies.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

A company to do what, if you are considering an IVA then personally the best Ip that I have seen in the industry is Melanie Giles from Jones Giles who is a prominent poster on this site. If it`s mortgage work then having met Mike and Jamie from Leybridge I would say they certainly know their stuff and also if it`s DMP then Andrew Graveson from Brightoak who also posts here is a knowledgable guy in what he does. What I will say though is getting the right advice is absolutely imperative if you are just looking into this area, not just for yourself but for all. Tony

Thanks for the kind words Tony. I can only echo your comments about Melanie Giles. I know Melanie thinks very highly of the work you do as well.

What anyone should consider before going ahead with a debt solution company is, are they putting me forward for a certain solution as it is better for them or better for me.

Over the past few years many "sausage factories" have opened which has unfortunately given the industry a bad name.

Hi Jo
But how does Joe Public know what is right and what is wrong ?
By speaking to several companies and doing some homework on this forum they will be able to have a more informed choice.
I agree with your comments about the factories
