Thanks Lesley, I will be glad when its done, at least the door will be done n out of the way.

With Money saving tips - I tend to shop between Tescos n Morrisons. I find Sainsburys way to expensive - but I do love the clothing. Wish I had a spare tenner this week as there r 2 tops I fancied, but the car pot must come first.

One thing I have learned about saving n being frugal, sometimes when there r sales on n things you want n cant have or afford at the time. Just think "there will always BE another sale" and there always is!

Blimey Helen - how does she get away with that! That's quite extreme - made me giggle tho!

We sometimes & its only sometimes get a few bits that are out of date - on the date. Because in a food industry your not allowed to serve it.
Last Christmas/New year we got a load of sausages/bacon/eggs n gammon due to business closing for a week!
But anything that comes home is cleared with management gets offered to all staff.
Some of the stuff that "has" to be thrown is just ridiculous & a waste.

We eat loads of out of date stuff. Hubby recently had a tin of pilchards that were about four years out of date and they were fine!

My rule of thumb is that if it looks, smells and tastes ok, then it will be.

There is a site which sells out of date food really cheaply, trouble is the delivery charge is quite high so you would need to order a lot to make it worth while.

Some of the stuff that's in our freezer, I dread to think how old it is!

Oh Helen that did make me laugh! I tend to do some IT work for myself at work but in my own time and use their printer as I've no ink in mine and my boss knows about it and is ok so long as it's in my own time. I was there till 6pm tonight, officially finished at 4.45 so can do what I want really so long as I don't abuse the situation.

I sometimes use envelopes from work and the odd pen. Always use my own postage stamps though when sending stuff through the firms postal system if it's going outside.

Pens we have hundreds at work as it's marketing and there is always plenty in my bag, they like you to take them out and leave them places! I've been marketing this morning and I'm now booked on a marketing course with one of the founders of Harry Ramsdens as the speaker, looking forward to that and it's in a nice posh hotel, all paid for too! x

Our pens are bog standard biros I'm afraid! If I need one when I leave work, I'll take one!

Your marketing course sounds good - when's that?

Our pens are the same. At one point we couldn't have proper Bic biros as they were too expensive but thankfully we've got them again.

We used to be able to put the odd thing through the franking machine but that was stopped when someone used to put all her Ebaying through at the company's expense!

Hope its an overnight stay Lesley [:)]

I've bought a few nice clothes from Sains and with hubbys discount on top, they're bargains! We spend a fortune on work clothes, no uniform as such just suits for both of us.

On the saving money front - I had a money tin from the last FF ( thanks Lesley[;)]). I've been putting 50p's in there and hopefully I will be able to use it at daughters hen do for a round of drinks!

I'm lucky that I don't have to wear a suit for work so my work clothes are as cheap as possible! I prefer to buy non work clothes!

I just supply my own trousers as cheap as I can.

I do need more formal clothing sometimes, and I have a suit from Asda that cost me £20.
