Anyone know of a legit. buy back/rental scheme -company. I am up for sale and desperate. As I shall have to go in to Rented accomodation someone suggested why don't I sell to a company and rent back this house. I know many schemes have been discredited but there are some OK ones I think. Advice please? Ripski

Hi Ripski and welcome to the Forum.

These companies are all very well, but I don't think they make you a very good offer for your house and I have no idea how much rent they would charge.

Someone else on here may be able to give you better advice, so I will bump this back up to the top.

Most are cowboys..they want an upfront free to value your house and then offer you 60% of the market value. You ask for more they drag it out for so long in the hope you will accept it.

None will offer you anywhere near what your house is worth. Trust me..been there done that, got repossessed and now living in rental.

If you really want to pursue this route, check out Martin Lewis' money saving expert website. Fill in a few details and he will give you the details of legit companies who don't require an upfront fee and who will be quick and efficient. They still will offer a tiny small amount though.

I have no idea how the rent back works as we wanted to rent elsewhere anyway...just sick of that house after everything that went on.

I do know of a reputable company, so if you would like to send me your details to my website I can send you theirs.

Are you currently insolvent of subject to an IVA?
