we have a vango diablo arty, it's fab, don't have a carpet tho lol, hubby would love a vango airbeam have you seen those? they're up in about 5 mins, pretty impressive, but can't afford one of those at the moment.

We went to cornwall for a week in 2010, I think it was the first week in Sept and the weather was fantastic, hot and sunny and clear blue skies for the entire week, I love cornwall, you can't beat it if you get the sun.

I can't believe you had the mountain rescue out!!! I am going to look on LMRT's site now to see if I can find the incident report xx

We're on a "staycation" at the moment[8D] Hubby and I have a week off and are up and about walking with the dog to local beauty spots every day. Off to Brecon Beacons tomorrow.

The weather has been kind so far, but we'll wrap up and still go out every day.

I miss going abroad, but we're not prepared to leave our dog with family / kennels yet and as we live by the coast, plenty to see and do.

Camping never appealed to me, but we are thinking of hiring a motor home in September - anyone done this?

Now I'd do a motor home!!!! It's under canvas I can't stand.

Much prefer the sun and a relaxing beach break!!!

We leave our dogs with the daughter in our house and they are fine.

The Aairbeams look awesome, so much easier to throw up! but as you say they come at a cost! we love our Zenobia!!!

When we went to cornwall it was grim to say the least, we had one decent day when we went to tintagel and boscastle, the rest of the time it was horrid!! but we had plenty of books and stuff to do, it just makes life that little bit more difficult!

Ive just been noseying at the LMRT's reports lol, trying to remember the date, will have to ask him when we get home, im naff with dates, he's like rainman!! [;)]

We also each year in ma go for a long weekend in Stirling, its stunnig up there, we stay right at the foot of the Ochi hills! stunning place!!

My friend just bought a brand new motorhome it's lovely, she went on a special driving course to be confident to drive it and reversed in a lamp post outside her house! Her fella was not impressed!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

[:D][:D]

Trouble with me is that I'd want a large Winnebago!!!

I've always wanted to do a coast to coast trip in the states in a large motorhome.

Just had a look at that airbeam -- Niiiice.

Years ago we had an igloo tent, based on the same principle. Basically a large (6 berth) dome. Great to put up -- but they stopped making them -- it seems vango have revived the system.

Claws - you were just asked to stop posting in capitals as it is classed as shouting and is against the forum etiquette.

It was also asked politely.

I am assuming that claws is referring to my post about posting in capitals - can't see anything else that would be upsetting.

Can't see any problem with your request Jan ?

Capitals can come across as shouting

Thanks Andy - couldn't see anything else on the thread that would be bothering claws.
