Hi
I am trying to get a natwest mortgage have clean credit agency reports. They are refusing a 75% mortgage due to an internal flag f ? Based on a self build loan settled in 2010. They sent documents to the wrong address after I gave my new address for which I have proof as there was no reply and they did not think to use my phone or email they passed the file to their internal credit management services. I got upset put in a complaint, was assured it would not affect my credit worthiness settled within 1 mnth with an agreed discounted amount. The promise was account would be settled and closed with no credit problems I am now livid have put in a complaint, have one week to sort out or will lose dream house ? Need quick solution to save house purchase ? If not legal redress with significant compensation . Can you advise plse ?

Given that they have their own lending criteria you may well find that there is little you can do as its not going to affect your credit worthiness elsewhere if its an internal marker with natwest.

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Was told by NatWest that they would not consider ex-bankrupts or iva's ever.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

If you are willing to consider other lenders the forum has a mortgage broker listed as an expert called Ryan who has been able to gain good mortgage deals for a number of forum members...his details can be found in the experts page.

There is unlikely to be sufficient time for the poster to apply for a mortgage with another lender, given the tight timeline set for completion. I have a friend who used to be a director at one of the leading CRA's - I will see what he can suggest to convince NatWest the the entry relates to an error and does not indicate a lack of creditworthiness.
