They are a debt collection agency so it is possible that they act for RBS.

Hi,

I deleted your other thread as it was basically a duplicate of this one.

To answer the second part of the question though, I don't think FCM or Triton are linked. They are both debt collecting agencies.

No probs. Thanks for that Jan.

I sent the other thread as I thought this one hadn't been used although this one took over 6 hours to be posted on the site. Impatient or what!!!

It does sometimes take longer for some reason.

Are you having problems with these companies.

Yes but I posted an update to an earlier thread yesterday which didn't give me any answers I'm afraid.

Yes, I can see that Zim Zim so thanks for that.

I just want to be able confirm that FCM did collect my RBS debt (through my IVA) and get Triton off my back as they are making me feel like a criminal at the moment for not paying my debts and a liar for telling them that they are paid! But also the fact that DFD have been next to useless is very frustrating too. Once they've been paid they don't seem to care any more.

You're absolutely right zim zim - not with it yet today! I've just read the other threads.

I am rather hoping that Declan will be on tomorrow and he may be able to help you out.

I take it you don't still have your chairmans report now?

I have the chairman's report that was sent out to creditors when I applied for F&F but a lot of the creditors hadn't voted (although 93% of creditors who sent in a proxy had voted in its favour) so it was granted. I had assumed the remaining creditors who hadn't sent in the voting form had been paid a dividend though.

What you are saying is correct. Creditors will get paid a dividend on your granted F&F whether they voted or not. Seems strange they are still persuing you for monies which, it seems have been paid.

Thanks Zim Zim

But I still need to be able to verify that my original RBS debt was collected by FCM. I didn't get a list of dividends paid out after my F&F either so again, I am assuming it would be the same as my list of creditors.

This just highlights the need to keep ALL paperwork from the very outset, including taking copious telephone notes of all conversations with debt collection companies of which debt and for whom) they are chasing. You can get quite blase that you think you are debt free and something like this comes out of the blue, years later, and memory fails you. Aint hindsight a wonderful thing!!!
