Hi there, is it allowed for a creditor to contact me direct about PPI ? Finished IVA in January.

Get expert opinion. This is the place for new questions to be posted.

Hi there, have,nt posted for a while as finished my IVA in January. The problem i have is that i have filled in numerous ppi forms for DFD, through EIF.A few weeks after sending in the last one i received a phone call from a creditor, asking me if i could remember taking out any PPI.Iwould like to know if this is allowed. As far as i am concerned i signed a declaration stating that any communication should be held between EIF and the creditor concerned.Could someone tell me if this is bad practice! Thank you.

Bad practice or not its simply a creditor asking if you remembered taking out ppi. No more no less. Its going to be hard for creditors to investigate claims without communicating with you.
