Hi all

struggling a bit,(again!), I seem to have moments of clarity, and then.......nothing. I have read the insolvency web page about 100 times now, and it is just passing through the black hole that used to home my brain and nothing is sticking. So I apologise if my questions on the forum have been a bit repetitive.

I think I will have to take some time off work, I have been trying to go through the whole process of the IVA and now getting ready for the BR petition whilst trying to put a face on at work as if nothing is wrong. And it is getting really hard, I have a lot on at work and I hate the thought of letting people down, but last week I was up until 1am most nights finishing off a presentation, well lets just say on a scale of 1-10 this one didnt even register.

Also, and this is the real shocker, I am totally off chocolate!!! Not even that is helping at the moment.

Anyway thanks for listening guys, as always much appreciated.

Pippa

Hi Pippa, it sounds as though you need to take some time out and try to relax a little bit. It won't be easy, but please don't make youself ill. I seemed to cope ok in the build up to my BR, but when it was all done I ended up with a mouthful of ulcers and a huge cold sore - not a pretty sight!

One thing you've said does worry me - you're off chocolate! That's what really makes me think you need time off! I love a big bar of Green & Blacks (the darker the better) and a good book.

Take care, and keep posting!

Hi Pippa

I know what you mean about the work thing. Only my 2 closest colleagues know anything about my situation. So for 10 months I have gone to work as if everything is normal. At times my job can be very stressful if my appointment page is full as I still have other responsibilities and no time to attend to them.

Keep your chin up and don't worry about the chocolate. I'm sure you'll have your appetite back in no time. I read today that to mark 30 years since Elvis died the Hershey chocolate company are launching a banana flavoured peanut butter cup chocolate bar to celebrate his love of peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Surely thats got the tastebuds watering. The wrapper says "eat like a king". If only he'd stuck to those instead of all those drugs and burgers.

Regards

Dave

Mmmmm, can you get them in the UK Dave? I'm supposed to be on (yet another!) diet but that would make me break it!

Seriously Pippa, I hope you're feeling better soon. Once you get the BR out of the way you will feel so much better. I found the lead up to 'the day' was worse than 'the day' itself.

Thanks Guys, I was really worried about the chocolate, It has never happened before! Not sure that banana and peanut butter is really my cup of tea I am more of a fruit and nut girl myself, but thanks for the suggestion.

Had calls from some of my creditors in the last couple of days and found that all were fine (well am sure they are not fine about it but you know what i mean), only 1 tried to persist on me making a payment, but they gave up quite easily and I stayed very calm.

I did call NR to see if I could get some feedback as to why they rejected, worth a go I thought may have been useful to others, but they cut me off once and couldnt find any one to take the call when i called straight back, but i have received a formal demand letter from them yesterday with the same contact number on that I tried before, so will call them tomorrow.

Thanks again all, enjoy the rest of the weekend,

Pippa
