Hi my husband is having to go self employed (company he has worked for for 16 yrs are deciding to close their doors) we are really struggling with opening a business bank account - have heard of a company called "cardonebanking" does anyone have any advice they could offer us? (We are nearly 3 yrs into our iva)

You don't have to use a business bank account.
I'm with the Co-Op and use one personal account for personal use and another for solely business.

They can tell the cheques and monies going in are for business and are happy to leave things as they are.
My accountant is happy. She can see everything in the same way.

Anyway, just a thought.

NatWest and Barclays tend to be quite supportive to new businesses - do you have any debt with either of these banks in your IVA?
