Hi
I've got my completion certificate from GT - yippee!! made F and F beginning March of this year. A big thank you to Olivia in the closures department for all her help.
Can anyone tell me how long it takes to come off the insolvency register and do i need to send copy of certificate to credit agencies or are they updated automatically?
Been on this forum a few times over the last five and a half years and its a godsend.
If you are in an IVA keep going, its been hell sometimes but you will get there and the feeling you get when this piece of paper comes through the door - even though i expected the certificate to come with a fanfare and marching band but don't care we've got it and our life can finally begin again.

Congratulations - great news!!
Your IVA should drop off the register shortly so jusgt keep checking.
Check your credit records and if anyone has been defaulting you after the date of IVA acceptance then write to the data controllers for those creditors enclosing a copy of the letter and tell them to update their records.

Well done! It seems to vary how quickly names are removed. Ours had a footnote stating it would be held on the register for 3 months and 3 months to the day our IVA was completed the names did disappear (a lovely feeling!).
