Mr Lewis advocates that everyone should use the so called "charity" or "free of charge" sector for their debt advice. What he fails to understand is that these two companies are as commercial as the rest of us when it comes to formal insolvency solutions. You will generally find that there is no such thing as a "free lunch" - and this is just as apparent in my profession as any other.
Exactly - I use one of the 'charitable' companies, and I'm paying fees for my IVA!
Does Mr Lewis realise that they charge the same fees as other companies?
