Hi, we have not managed to get an IVA going yet and in the interim have cancelled all non-essential things like Sky. But from the discussions I have had, it seems that you can include some basic Sky costs in the income and expenditure calculations. If you haven't already, then perhaps it's worth speaking to an Insolvency Practioner. All the folks on here seem to recommend contacting a couple, which can be found (with ratings) on iva.com

All the best

Andy

There is no problem in having Sky TV or the internet - neither of thse are viewed as luxuries these days.

I have sky and the internet included with no problems.

I would give one or two companies a ring. Visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews. They will give you free and impartial advice about all the options open to you and advise you as to the best way forward for your circumstances.

JoannaD - no worries these will be acceptable in your expenditure analysis. Best bet is to have a chat with an IP. Select from reviews of them on www.iva.com - rest assured you'll get the appropriate advice from one of them. Good luck.
