Hi, my final payment went out today, with would be great news, but also in the post today was a letter from GT about the variations to my terms with ref to ppi and interest claims. Is this going to,delay my certificate? Not sure what to do?

Email or text them back with your acceptance of the variation. I posted it and they didn't get it so looks like my completion will be delayed (more than it might have been). You either need to accept the variation or wait until PPI has been investigated to get your completion certificate.
Paid F&F in July 2012 and received CC in July 2013 :-)

Hi Shelley, did you agreed to the variation in terms? Have you instruicted EIC to investigate whether you are due any PPI related compensation? As I understand it the variation in terms was meant to make it possible for the IP to isse a completion certificate where the PPI issue had not yet been settled. In my opinion you probably have nothing to worry about but the experts will be along shortly with advice. Good luck, Fletch x

Hi, thanks for the replies, I checked through all my loan paperwork and we did not have any ppi's and no mortgage, so decided to accept the T&C , I have emailed them o let them know, and also told them we had no ppi's and that our final payment has come out and please pass to closures! So fingers crossed, cannot believe that ppi form turned up today......thought we had escaped it! :)
