Hi everyone
Hope you guys can help. Me and my partner is in iva and we just had our first year review completed in June.

And last week he been offered owner franchise driver for his company that he is currently on. Can he accept that?

And also we only living on one car now and I think it's taking it's toll and will not pass the next mot or will have expensive repairs,we really need a new car, can we do that with a loan?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi Happy!

I'm not sure what being an owner franchise driver entails but it is worth checking the terms and conditins of the role before accepting the position. Hopefully there shouldn't be anything standing in his way.

You probably wouldn't be able to get a loan for a car without a variation meeting of creditors being called to agree to the credit ad expenditure. Leasing may be allowed or even a short payment break to buy a cheap run-around.
