Hi Can you please help
I had a IVA arranged and settled,I paid if off earlier, Taken out 25th 06/2002
Cleared 14th January 2005,
I'm trying to get a business loan from the HSBC, but they now seem not to want to borrow because of the IVA
Any suggestions?
Many thanks

If I remember correctly, your IVA information will stay on your credit rating for six years even if you pay it off early. I'm sure one of the experts can elaborate further on this.

Hi
It won,t be until June 08 that your IVA will be off your credit file.
Can you hold on until then for a business loan ?

Just google "business loan iva" I did and a few lenders came up!!! I doubt the high st banks will help you so your going to have to sniff round the sub prime lenders I should think!!

Welcome to the forum hygienebin,

An IVA will remain on your credit file for a duration of 6 years from its commencement. Eventhough you paid your IVA off early this will still show on your report.

However your details should have been removed from the Insolvency register once your Full & Final offer was completed.
